I am human rights lawyer with a PhD in Law. My PhD research was on reproductive and sexual rights.
I currently work at the Office of the Estonian Chancellor of Justice (also serving as an NHRI) as a Senior Advisor on Human Rights and Technology. I advise the Chancellor on the matters of artificial intelligence and human rights, data justice, data governance, surveillance, anti-discrimination. Since we are a small team, I additionally cover questions around gender equality, gender based violence as a human rights violation, regional and global human rights frameworks. I keep the Office and the Chancellor up-to-date with relevant human rights research.

I am also a member of the Standing Committee on Cyber Security at the Estonian Academy of Sciences where I advise the Committee on how to bring fundamental rights based thinking into risk analysis.

Whenever I have time left from my human rights work, you will find me doodling, scribbling, drawing and illustrating.
